What is a primary source and where do I look to find one?
Answer
A primary source is a resource that was created at the time of a specific event by someone who was a participant or observer. Primary sources can come in a wide variety of types, such as documents, diaries, newspaper articles, correspondence, and photographs.
In scientific fields, a primary source reports on the results of an experiment/study by the person or group who performed it.
